Professional Golf Management

The Professional Golf Management (PGM) program in the Morrison School at ASU's Polytechnic campus is one of only 20 programs accredited by the Professional Golfer's Association (PGA) of America.

This structured program is monitored by a staff of three PGA professionals, one of whom is a Master Professional, certified in General Management.

ASU'S PGM program offers students:

• a four-year business degree specifically designed for students who aspire to become Class A PGA Professionals* and work in management careers in the golf industry
• PGA certification
• access to a double-ended driving range and pro shop, state-of-the-art PING Swing Analysis Lab and generously equipped club repair facility
• numerous internship opportunities
• volunteer opportunities at golf tournaments
• PGM Club, the largest student organization on ASU's Polytechnic campus
• 5 PGM tournaments per semester
• 248 golf courses within a 75-square-mile radius of ASU's Polytechnic campus
• certificates to play for free at specific PAT courses
• Arizona's year-round golfing weather

The PGM program is one of two golf-related disciplines offered by Morrison School of Management and Agribusiness. The Golf and Facilities Management (GFM) program is designed to prepare students for careers as golf course superintendents and/or facilities managers.
